Dr. Andrei Baranjouk was born and raised in Ukraine, where he graduated and became a dentist in 1987 from Lviv State Medical University. After practicing in Ukraine as a general practitioner and emergency dentist, he immigrated to Canada in 1992. In 1993 he was accepted into a postdoctoral hospital internship program at the Health Sciences Centre Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Through 1996-97 he worked as a fly in dentist in Northern Canada serving remote communities. In 1998 Dr. Andrei Baranjouk successfully challenged the National Dental Examining Board’s examinations and received full Canadian accreditation. Dr. Baranjouk studied multiple continuing education courses at the University of Western Ontario. In the same year, Dr. Baranjouk opened North End Dental Clinic at 1014 Main Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since opening his practice, Dr. Baranjouk has broadened his knowledge in various continuing education courses varying from endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and implantology from multiple well respected institutions throughout Europe and North America. Dr. Baranjouk keeps up with the latest technologies, materials and trends being introduced in the dental field with biyearly visits to the International Dental Show in Cologne, Germany and is constantly updating his knowledge and methods. His priorities as a practitioner are patient comfort, care, and providing them with the newest and highest quality treatments with techniques and materials from all over the world. Dr. Baranjouk has a great love for animals, and his favourite hobbies are reading, spending time outdoors and travelling. Dr. Baranjouk speaks English, Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, and is working on his German.
